So i got onto Gates of Madness for the stress test. Really good server Smile

In WvW we were against Sea of Sorrows and Sorrows furnace. Gates sat neck and neck with sorrows for the whole time, got ahead for a bit but it was close. Gates stuck together with some good calls from the leaders of 2 wvw guilds who were great, no trolls btw, was hella fun. In the end Gates won by about 500 points Smile

Also i two shot an ele and killed 2 others (ranger/thief) by myself then got perma raped by two necros and a guardian Smile

I like this server

Its not in concrete, we chose it going on what the lists were last week and I tried the server in a stress test and it was great, people were good. Next week we will have another meeting to decide as the lists may change until Arenanet finalises the list so welcome to come along on vent for that. After all its everyone's choice Smile

Maybe we should just stick with gates full stop...

we keep changing our minds on this server stuff.. and its gonna cause problems if we change our mind like a week before launch and not everybody knows etc (bound to be people who ignore an email or something etc)

besides.. gates seems like a strong and friendly server (hence our reasons for voting on it) I doubt that can change in the next two weeks, unless vex gaming or something suddenly say, hey lets play on gates just for shits and giggles..

=P
so yeah, just wondering if there is any point to change server anyway..

its averagely populated. there are 7 servers more populated according to gw2guilds.org.

darkhaven will be more populated despite the small amount of guilds on it as will sea of sorrows. if some servers are super populated no doubt arenanet will offer free transfers to even up the servers. if we wanted a less populated server there is very very few choices. and picking one of the almost no population servers would not be wise.

there is only one reason i am not saying 100% that we are on gate and that is that there is still no official list.

gate may be removed, anything could happen. so a final meeting will be held on tuesday 21st. at 7pm. i am hoping by then arenanet has something for us.

by the way lilith. i have decided you an i hold the most power in thsi guild. as no one else has declared they are building support based builds. therefore if anyone wants to do anything awesome they need us.we shall be their queens and they our subordanents. that is how it works.

I think everyone has realised by now that we are the "generic girl gamers" that heal/support.

I normally chose a ranged class in games.. why? .. because im a lazy sh*t, the monsters can come to me XD
being a healer would generally let me be super lazy.

but guild wars 2 just had to go and get all in-depth lol, ill still choose healing tho because i like to support =)

i like supporting because i hate playign by myself. i like to spend quiet time gathering and crafting but please dont make me go out there and kill shit alone its sooooooo boring. and if you need to grind levels healing wins.
1 find group
2 watch them kill shit
3 press the heal button now and then while watching tv.

i also like yelling at people for being bad which i determine by how hard i have to work to keep them alive.

^Flyff was the worst/ best for this lol

seriously the ringmaster class.. after giving the full set of buffs (have to redo this about every 10 minutes or so) all you had to do was hold down the heal button, you could seriously walk away from the computer if you just rested something on that key lol

and yes MMO + massively multiplayed online (reference from my shit fucking retard of a games lecturer at ooni)

so i play with people while depending on my own heals as healers are shit

in all honesty, you should never rely on a healer in the first place. why? they might have stress and be over healing the tank/other toon. thats why you need a back up plan. healing yourself is always handy so go with that I guess

I've always played deception classes, e.g rogues and all that kinda bullshit. switched to mages on WoW and then hunters. basically mesmers are all that in one for me haha
